  • Harry Potter. Imagine the fun!
  • Anything by Terry Pratchett.
  • Sherlock Holmes. I would love to tag along and watch him work, and that is my favorite time period, too.
  • Any of C.S. Lewis's Narnia books. Imagine how amazing it would be to step into an alternate universe in an unexpected way - through a picture frame, an old wardrobe, a railroad tunnel...the possibilities are endless!
  • I would choose the BILL OF RIGHTS from the US constitution. Why? Because things should be that way.
  • House of Scorpio--by Pat Wallac It's about six sisters in a furtur version of our world that is very lovely and very interesting.
  • Soylent Green. It seems in some countries it is already happening.
  • I haven't read all of them yet, but the world of Harry Potter would be interesting to live in! edit: and Taylor made me think of another. We just saw "Wicked" and I'm also currently reading the book. Here is a clip I found from the Tony awards with actors from the Broadway cast (not the same we saw...but, I must say, the actress we saw playing Elphaba gave me chills when she sang "Defying Gravity")
  • I don't know what the basis for this series was..if it was from a book, then I guess I'm being responsive. In any case, I would love to bring to life all the people in Northern Exposure..I adored that series and all the quirky people in it and if it were possible to visit there and live among the people for a brief period of time, I'd be first in line! :)
  • Jodie, when I was a kid, I loved Peter Pan. I think I would still love to take flight go visit Never Neverland. I already know how to get there: Second star to the right, then straight on till morning. :)
  • The Dragon Prince/Dragon Star fantasy series by Melanie Rawn. The imagery in the books was just fantastic and I still have hopes that it may be made into a movie someday with all the new technology advances in film making.
  • Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (books, not the movie). Zaphod is AWESOME. He'd be a much better president than Bush :P
  • Probably one of my own stories. Either "Bennie Downloads Marya": http://www.bewilderingstories.com/issue181/bennie1.html Or "Sathya Downloads Bennie": http://www.bewilderingstories.com/issue201/sathya_bennie1.html Also, part of me wants to say Star Trek. But not really. I don't want a gigantic Borg Cube to show up in orbit around earth some day...
  • the twilight series (i need an edward and i am SO a bella)
  • I say the childhood book "Goodnight Moon" because is there anything more soothing, lulling, sensitive, and affectionate in this world.... I wanted to be all educated and spout out all the intellectual books I have read... But I think I prefer the reality of "Goodnight Moon"...
  • I would have to write it first. None of the ones I've read are what I would like to see happen. : ))
