sounds relatively low but what about STD or HIV?

You apparently have a lot to learn about sex. I would suggest that you call your doctor or make an appointment and get your answers from a professional. It will be really worth your time.

Pull out method without the pill? Your chance would be very high, pre-ejaculate can impregnate a woman even if he pulls out "in time". And using condoms cuts it down dramatically, something to like a .4% chance or around that. However condoms can break. Really I would be more worried about STD's rather than pregnancy, the chance of getting aids from an unprotected female for a man is only 1 in five million, but the chance for a female getting AIDS is 1 in five THOUSAND.

Birth control pills are 92-99.7% effective. If you are consistently taking your pills, you have a very slim chance of getting pregnant. If you are combining the pills with any other form of birth control, your chances get even slimmer. Nothing is 100% except abstinence, but you seem to be taking responsible and comprehensive measures to prevent pregnancy.

The pill usually works, but if you take tetracycline or amoxycillin for any reason, it won't work. That's how I had my first abortion. The pill is supposed to be 95% effective, condoms are like 90%, so you've got pretty good protection using both. Accidents can still happen, though, believe it or not.
