    General Motors is still, but just bearly. Toyota Motor Corp. sold 2.35 million vehicles worldwide in the January-March period, surpassing the 2.26 million vehicles GM sold in the quarter. However, later in the year G.M. recovered and held onto #1. The final figures for 2007 are not in yet.
