There is a medication called BUCALCIDE that I can get here in Puerto Rico over the counter, without a prescription. It is an anesthetic spray with a mint taste that will relieves the pain and kill throat germs. Maybe it is available in your area. It comes in a spray bottle. It works great! Famous recipie from Bulgaria (Europe) In a pot put 4 tablespoons Vodka, 1/8 of a butter stick and 2 tablespoons honey. Let it boil. take it off and let it cool a little bit until you can actually drink it without burning yourself. Drink as fast as you can. Its actually pretty good. Works like a charm. I always get really bad soar throat to the point where I can't talk. This is the best way for me. Weird I know but works. Hope you get well soon.
