  • Allah promised that land to them. Yahweh and the UN gave it to the Jews. God gave it to the Christians but they are too closely allied with the Jews/Israelis to bother fighting, especially considering the competence of the Israeli military.
  • Do they?? The Iranian President DID NOT say Israel should be "wiped off the map". Many Arab countries detest the Israeli's policy of occupation and theft of Palestinian lands, as do many non-Arabs. This is why Israel creates for herself so many enemies. Israel is it's own worst enemy.
  • Hatred. It's hard to understand why they will not just let a peace seeking nation be.
  • Palestine
  • This is the 5000 year old question, long before Palestinians even became part of the problem. Although the hatred became more intense some 1300 years ago with the birth of Islam. Jews are also not the only target, Christians as well are targets. This is about Religion not countries.
  • they get tired of israel murdering palestine's people, taking their land, and then when someone retaliates against them they say it's a act of terrorism. It's kinda like kids on a playground. Israel pokes, and jabs one other kids, the other kids retaliate, and israel goes running, and hides behind it's big brother USA. They dont want to annihilate israel, they just dont want to eventually end up a part of israel.
  • They (Zionist Movement) converted Palestine in the biggest concentration camp in the planet. Fact: not all Jews are Zionist. My 2 cents. http://www.nkusa.org/AboutUs/Zionism/greatgulf.cfm
  • Because those thieving Jews plopped their cheap asses in the middle of THEIR desert, instead of buying their own land like everyone else!
  • “Palestine became a predominately Arab and Islamic country by the end of the seventh century. Almost immediately thereafter its boundaries and its characteristics — including its name in Arabic, Filastin — became known to the entire Islamic world, as much for its fertility and beauty as for its religious significance...In 1516, Palestine became a province of the Ottoman Empire, but this made it no less fertile, no less Arab or Islamic...Sixty percent of the population was in agriculture; the balance was divided between townspeople and a relatively small nomadic group. All these people believed themselves to belong in a land called Palestine, despite their feelings that they were also members of a large Arab nation...Despite the steady arrival in Palestine of Jewish colonists after 1882, it is important to realize that not until the few weeks immediately preceding the establishment of Israel in the spring of 1948 was there ever anything other than a huge Arab majority. For example, the Jewish population in 1931 was 174,606 against a total of 1,033,314.” Edward Said, “The Question of Palestine.”
  • ya meet with hitler once for 15 minutes and suddenly you're his buddy? israel offered to return SOME of the confiscated lands from the 1967 war, not all. The Palestinians and other middle eastern countries maintain that Israel ought not exist in the land that they've lived in for 1,100 years, under colonial dictum. 60 million people died in world war II, not just 6 million jewish people. too many russians, primarily. holocaust tragedies were monumental. i've never heard of any other victim of a war securing for itself a new country!!! it's never mentioned that the land had been promised to the palestinian people for purposes of establishing a democracy in the middle east, in a balfour agreement, following wwI. that was great!!! then, something aweful happened... hitler came to power. if great britain and the united states and the south american countries would have been willing to raise, ever so slightly, their DANG immigration quotas OR BOMB the concentration camps, we might have been able to save millions from the holocaust. we were too freakin prejudiced!!! so, when palestine finally gets a Jewish quarum, it declares itself an independent, democratic jewish state!!! it barely keeps a majority - the palestinians are among the most rapidly breeding populations on earth are the palestinian. israel allows jews joint citizenship but if a palestinian who's lived there 60 years and whose family has lived there 1100 years wants to visit a neighbor in jordan for 3 days, they're not allowed back in. the palestinian people are treated almost like folks were treated in the holocaust. the roles of the dead are usually 20 palestinians in retaliation for each israeli death. palestinian lawyers aren't permitted to practice in the israeli courts!!!!! american money has made israel wealthy, giving more $ per citizen than our federal govt gives to citizens of any american state. israel buys american weapons with which to murder palestinians. america gives several dollars per palestinian for health, education, welfare. sure, God told Moses that the land belonged to the Jews. Sure, Allah told Muhammad that the land belonged to the Islamic people. Sure, the Christians think that since the Temple Mount is there, that they deserve it. every country has mis-behaved in this quadmire and it is only by act of the people that we'll be able to know justice and peace. martin luther king said that an injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. i suspect that the imprisoned palestinians, unable to present grievances to their country's court system when their mother is killed by an israeli-american bomb, feels some sense of seige, injustice. the israeli-jewish people must feel terrified that the eyes of the world are fixated upon it and they're within just a few miles and seconds of conventional or nuclear war. the americans are just too uninformed of this whole matter for many of them to have cogent opinions. the jewish folks are now too sophisticated and have a powerhouse intelligence network that is unrivaled. look at the vetos by the usa in the un security council. the only time that usa vetos something is when it could hurt israel and 98% of other nations in the general assembly vote in unison against usa and israel. is this because usa is wrong or because of antizionism, or, maybe some combination?
  • It's conflict that has been fought for years where everybody blame each other and kill each other. I think both sides would stop this stupid fighting now.
  • Myself, I have no use for a Goddamn Jew! Troublemaking , thieving bastards they are!
  • Because Israel is a terrorists state. They kill thousands and thousands of Palestinians. Israel also refuses to accept the existence of Arabs and call them "animals". Take a look at this map. Shame on Israel. FREE PALESTINE.
  • Because they're anti-semitic....I thought this much was obvious.
  • because Jews are strict on them, don't hypocrite them like christians like to do as a part of their turning the other cheek belief.
  • Because as a result of their policy of repopulating Israel, many Palestinians have been displaced and 6th generation Palestinian refugees are still living in refugee camps in Southern Lebanon. Israel restricts the economic freedom of the Palestinians so that they have very little contact with the outside world and Palestinians who work in Israel have to go through an obstacle course to get to work, amongst many other things.
  • If you had to share half of your land with Russia, for example, would you be happy about it?
  • Religion and the trouble it spawned.
  • theirs is a fight that will go on for many years.....the israelites beat the original inhabitants of the present day israel to get their land....."god helped em" so now the arabs must also want to prove that allah is helpin em....simple
  • Bad use of words. Several Arab nations, as well as the Iranian government, do not see the Israeli government as legitimate, and would rather it went away. This is because there is an undeniable level of brutality in the treatment of Palestinians, and you'll notice that Israel tends to suffer the least in most of the wars it's been in (look at the recent Lebanon invasion - 90 Israelis died, compared to some 2000 or more Lebanese civilians). Noam Chomsky explains this much better: http://www.chomsky.info/articles/20060819.htm
  • Two thousand years ago, the Jews were kicked out of the Promised Land. After World War Two, the powers of the world (mainly England) decided to re-instate the Jews in the Promised Land. Unfortunately, throughout the past 2000 years, other people moved in and grew to call themselves the Palestinians. Too bad: the Israelis came in and took what they believed was rightfully theirs: now there is a conflict over who has more right to the land. The other Arab nations want to see Israel's annihilation because they are obviously on the side of the Palestinians. Only Egypt and Jordan even acknowledge Israel's existence.
  • Hey...Many of you calling Israel a terrorist state could equally call your own country one...The US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and all of Central and South America were also land taken away from the people who used to live there, and countries like England, France, Germany, Holland, etc. did it, so I guess that would cover most of you either being the relatives of terrorists or living illegally in a terrorist state. Only difference is, Jews always lived in the Middle East whereas Europeans were never in any of those places they stole. Second, neither side is right. I live here and a lot of what you see in the media is absolute propaganda. Palestinians were massacring Jews long before Israel was ever called a country, look up Hebron, 1929. As well, the Jews did the same to the Palestinians and continue to allow Settlers in the West Bank where they have NO RIGHT to be. I have met fanatics on both sides. The fact is there is racism and religious fanatics fueling this whole thing, drop a few bombs in between all that and: Welcome to the Middle East!!
  • Arab countries don't want to see the annihilation of Israel. However, Israel wants you and the rest of the sheeple to believe that and they will do anything and go to every extent to prove it, even if that entails committing apartheid and genocide on Arab populations
