What are the characteristics of a Godly Women?

The Bible tells us the characteristics of a Godly woman. Consider:

Proverbs 31:10-31

10 An excellent wife who can find?
She is far more precious than jewels.
11 The heart of her husband trusts in her,
and he will have no lack of gain.
12 She does him good, and not harm,
all the days of her life.
13 She seeks wool and flax,
and works with willing hands.
14 She is like the ships of the merchant;
she brings her food from afar.
15 She rises while it is yet night
and provides food for her household
and portions for her maidens.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
17 She dresses herself with strength
and makes her arms strong.
18 She perceives that her merchandise is profitable.
Her lamp does not go out at night.
19 She puts her hands to the distaff,
and her hands hold the spindle.
20 She opens her hand to the poor
and reaches out her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of snow for her household,
for all her household are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes bed coverings for herself;
her clothing is fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates
when he sits among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them;
she delivers sashes to the merchant.
25 Strength and dignity are her clothing,
and she laughs at the time to come.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom,
and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
27 She looks well to the ways of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
29 "Many women have done excellently,
butyou surpass them all."
30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands,
and let her works praise her in the gates.

There you have it.

Someone that continues to look to God in everything, in good times and bad. Someone who dresses herself with God's word and someone who is giving in prayer, in time (when she can), a good listener, someone that exhibits and or strives towards Christ like behaviour in all her ways. Obedient. Fears God. A tender heart, forgiving heart, and loving. a good cook, creative with her hands, someone who dresses moderately.

unselfishness, undying love for God, respect, honor, sacrifice, and consideration, she thinks the best of people, she loves and protects her family, optimism, she knows how to compromise and forgive those that have done her wrong.

9 Likewise I desire the women to adorn themselves in well-arranged dress, with modesty and soundness of mind, not with styles of hair braiding and gold or pearls or very expensive garb, 10 but in the way that befits women professing to reverence God, namely, through good works.

11 Let a woman learn in silence with full submissiveness. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach, or to exercise authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 Also, Adam was not deceived, but the woman was thoroughly deceived and came to be in transgression. 15 However, she will be kept safe through childbearing, provided they continue in faith and love and sanctification along with soundness of mind.

godly?

It's not possible, as godlike as we would all like to be, we aren't godlike.

Puts God first.
Doesn't think about her looks.
Puts everyone else before herself, especially God.
Is subservient to her husband.
Has many children, all whom she puts second, next to God.
Does not long for worldly pleasures.
Resists temptation.
Is fine with what she gets.
Does not want status.
(Nearly) Always thinks pure thoughts. (Because, who are we kidding...we're all inherently flawwed.)

I'm not liking the sound of this. Seems like, Godly-woman status is just as hard to achieve as Super-woman status. They both can make a woman suffer.

From what I've seen lately, it's a homely woman with long hair in a bun, no makeup or jewelry, denim skirt and tennis shoes. All this in stark contrast to what the bible exhorts a Godly woman to be.

The Characteristics Of A godly Woman

What ever kind of person, you hang around or be with, you will take on their characteristics. You will start to act like them or do the same things they do.
The Bible say's " Can Two Walk Together,. Except They Be Agreed? (Amos 3:3)"
We as Christians, must control the kind of People and the kind of environment we be in, or that person and/or environment will control you.
To take on the Characteristics of a godly man, you must learn from a godly man. The more you be around a godly man, the more you will be like a godly man. If you want to be like Christ, we must walk and talk like Him. The only way to learn how to be like Him, is to be with Him. In Spirit and Truth.

Honesty and willing to sacrafice

Apart from salvation itself, a Godly woman is God's greatest gift to a man.

Because God is an integral part of who she is, the Godly woman has the resources of agape love within her. Agape love is defined as "the selfless devotion of one person to another." The qualities of such love are detailed in 1 Corinthians chapter 13. These qualities are :

She is a woman of Trust is himself trustworthy.
She is a woman capable of Devotion to another.
She is a woman of Honor.
She is a woman worthy of Esteem and is able to show esteem for others.
She has a Godly sense of Value and values others.
She Looks for good, not faults
She is a man of Forgiveness (does not "keep score")'
She is a man of Patience
She is a man who offers Encouragement to others.
She is not Selfish.

Nice , cute , caring , loving , sweet , understading , matured , faithful.................. lots n lot of characterestics :)
