1. There are three 10mm nuts holding the taillight assembly on the car. They can be access via the trunk and may require removing round trim covers. Remove all three.
2.carefully pry the assembly away from the body.
3. The brake light is the top bulb, carefully twist the connector until you can pull from the assembly.
4. remove the bulb by pulling straight out. wiggle slightly as needed.

Hi, I'm needing some help with my 99 mazda protege. The headlights seem to work whenever it feels like it (low beams) so I have to constantly use my high beams. What could be the problem and is it expensive to fix?? I'm tired of pissing everyone off!
