Help answer this question below.
How can it be a 'world series' with only one, possibly two countries taking part. This is another indication of the US's ignorance about there being a world out there, or is it that they don't want anyone else to take part in case they get beat.
U.S. and Canada if they're lucky.
United States and occasionally Canada.
Which series?
As an American when I look at the world as I whole, I see territory as yet unconquered. Perhaps I should be looking at something else, like your.. .. avatar.

I know this is a joke to the rest of the *world* But to that, the proper response is and has always been, why does anyone live in a country that does not play baseball?

Not quite every corner of the globe, but it seems I've hit a raw nerve considering the downmarking so I'll leave you in your own world series. bfn

I only knew that because of my mother who acts like each one of her *Braves* are her own children. It's way funny!

216 contries take part in the football (soccer) world cup, to me that's a world series.

You're forgetting America hosted it and America takes part every 4 years. America is just an insignificant member of the 216. It's time you looked at the world as a whole.
