Question

Help answer this question below.

My 1997 jaguar xj6 starts, but the passenger side exhaust is not emmitting, and the car feels to have lost power, the car shakes, and sounds as if it is difficult to stay running. Is there an easy diagnosis?

If it has a true dual exhaust, I would say the catalytic converter is plugged on that side (passenger). Loosen the exhaust pipe at the manifold and see if it runs better.
