Do you mean no heater in the truck? It could jus be low coolent level, check that first. If not, you probably have a plugged heater core. That is a very common problem on the GM S/T series of vehicles. You can tell by feeling the heater hoses going to the heater core. They are right next to each other on the passenger side going into the firewall. Start the truck turn heat on high and let is warm up. Feel both hoses if both are warm then thats probably not the problem. If one is warm and one is cold it's probably plugged. Unfortunatly the repair is very labor intensive and requires major disassembly of the truck. Good Luck, hope this helps.
