  • I like to do it after, because the skin is softer and moist, and your less likely to cut yourself.
  • It never seems to make a diff for me. Maybe if you take a loooong, hot steamy shower, and start shaving right afterwards, your stubble would still be waterlogged and softer, but I've never actually noticed this.

  • If you're using a razor, then it's best to shave after a hot shower. In the past when people would get a shave at the barbers, the barber would wrap a warm moist cloth on your face to open your pours and make the skin smooth, which makes it easier to cut.
