  • I believe that it would depend on whether or not the authorized user signed as co-applicant and used the card. And if they didn't sign and used the card it is possible that they would still only be responsible for the charges they personally made. Look at it this way someone could add anyone else's name to their account without that person even being aware of it! If it is a child under 18 I don't believe they would be responsible regardless.
