Not really! The Raptor is a quantum leap in military aviation. It's been designed to fight enemy weapons that are on their drawing boards now! About the only aircraft currently that would have any chance against the Raptor would be the Su-37 Super-Flanker by Sukhoi. However I doubt it would get very far in any confrontation with the Raptor since the Super-Flanker is not slealty. But.. it does have a something going for it... super-agility which might be able to match the super-agility of the F-22A. But the Raptor will also be the first combat aircraft to utilize "super-cruise" the ability to go supersonic without the use of afterburners; thereby being at to go and cruise supersonically. I would say that in an all-out fight, it would be a 15-to-1 kill-ratio at least, in favor of the F-22A Raptor.

there are very few planes that can come close to the f-22 raptor, and the only one that can come close is the f-15 and thats about it. unless you want to go head to head and and that competition would have to be the yf-23. tthe yf-23 black widow was made by northrop mcdonnel douglas same manufacterer of the f-18. the design requiments of the black widow and the raptor were both met by both jets in so much and survieability and supersonic cruise , and stealth both machines were built to replace the aging f-15, both jets had low visibility heat signatures developed into their engines. the two jets went head to head in 1991 and in some areas the f-23 out performed the yf-22, and many areas the two protypes were tied.to this day the yf-23 has not been publicly scrutinised, the weapons and cargo bay are still clasified. the two prototypes were handed over to nasa. to match the f-22 the colsest match would indoutadly be the yf-23 for these plane meet all of the criteria to replace the f-15 both jets were phenomenal in performance stealth and maximum fuel efficiancy at maximum speed, the biggest obivious chacterist of the black widow are its wide wigs they are the most distiguishing feature are its bat looking wings. the bad part of having to choose from these jets is that the airforce only required one, for no better reason than the 22s parts are interchangeable with the f-15 parts. of course there are more reasons but i don't know them all.
