Hard question to answer because I am very ANTI BREEDING. There are over one THOUSAND dogs put to death DAILY in the United States because NO ONE WANTS THEM. They are puppies, older puppies (6 months of age) Young dogs (a year to 4 years) mature dogs 4 to 8 years old and elderly 8 and up. They are purebred dogs, of almost every type known. They are crossbred Retrievers, Pittbulls, Cockers, and Pugs, Collies, and GSD, Poodles and Great Danes...you think of a breed mix...and probably they've gotten that final shot in the leg. They are sweet dogs, mean dogs, frightened dogs, sleepy dogs, sick dogs, playful dogs, wonderful dogs, loving dogs...and they are now DEAD DOGS. I always get mixed (mutts) or Retriever cross rescues for my personal dog...I like mutts! I've trained dogs and horses for over 30 years...mostly purebreds but a good number of Mutts too... I hate that people choose to breed dogs, cats and horses irresponsibly. So even when they say.."OH but I have homes for the puppies..." I have to wonder if they are so dumb they don't realize that those puppies may also end up being bred and also if you have five puppies to sell or give away...THAT'S FIVE PUPPIES OR DOGS BEING PUT TO DEATH TONIGHT BECAUSE NO ONE EVEN BOTHERED TO GO LOOK AT THEM and hopefully take one home! Unless the dog is at a NO KILL shelter, that dog gets about one week for the owner to come in (if the dog was FOUND), AND THEN they evaluate the dog for adoption row. If the dog passes the temperament test (modified) then the dog gets ONE MORE WEEK to be on adoption row and MAYBE be chosen by some one to go home. After that second week, and if the dog was SURRENDERED BY THE OWNER TO THE POUND...they only get ONE WEEK to live on adoption row. Then comes LAST DAY and that night if not adopted the dog is killed. Some pounds don't even use a needle...they GAS THEM IN GROUPS IN A SMALL BOX, PUTTING THE NEXT BATCH OF LIVE DOGS IN ON TOP OF THE DEAD ONES UNTIL ALL THE DOGS FOR THAT NIGHT ARE DEAD. Horrible story to an innocent question...I know...but how many people DON'T KNOW THE TRUTH? Now you do and now you can choose to do something about it, by promoting RESPONSIBLE breeding, training, and supporting adopting LIVE, EXISTING DOGS who only dream of someone loving them and a forever home. I'm not posting the video...but if you are over 18 and either have a strong stomach or feel like crying it's on UTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fl6wYn7tQo8

I don't think this is a good idea -- it's not like making cocktails -- if you end up with a bad batch of drinks, you can throw it away -- but with puppies it's an experiment on live animals... you're just passing the health problems you might have created over to the puppies' new owner.

I would say a St. Bernard and a Golden Retriever.

A Bull dog and a Shitzu We'd call it a Bullsh!t C'mon, what's that from????

While noting Redhawk's objections (I would only do this if I could provide good homes for the litter), I would breed whatever mix produced Harley (the world's *best* dog). . He's the one on the left. .

I would mix the Boxer and the American Pittbull terrier.

well lets see if you are talking about "designer" dogs then you should stop reading becouse there is some real issuse with this cross breeds. You should not try to breed your dog on your own. Leave that to the breeders. If you realy wount a puppy first you should be sure that you have room, money, and time for them if you dont then dont bother. There is to many animals in pounds being put to "SLEEP" and I use that term lightly. Most pounds are not very humane. But to answer you most likely it well favore the more breed dog. An example would be your min pin is a pure breed and a mix dog came along the puppies would look more like the min pin. But some times it doesnt work like that so them could look like enything. Besides dont go for looks go for temperment thats the key.
