Oh, I think everyone's home creaks. However, it is your interpretation that makes it "spooky," vs. a normal part of the life of a structure. Think of it as the house purring, having you inside of it, and you will probably feel less menaced by the noises. :o)

Yes this place has it noises and creeks.

My house makes a weird noise sometimes in the tv by the door that opens to the deck. Like a loud, crack kind of noise.

No creaking because it's a stone building and tile floors, but the boiler tends to make a howling sound in the winter at times when it has to work overtime to heat the apartment. LOL
