To check up on humans. To see how we are advancing. Or to see if they can take over our planet.

exploration, or maybe they ruined their planet, like we are doing to ours. There is also the breeding theory. Their population is low, so they come over here to impregnate humanwomen then come and take the fetus a few weeks later. My favorite, is that they put us here and just come in to check on us!

Well to learn about us, to see the sights, or to show off. But if you had a UFO, wouldn’t you fly to other plants?

Beings intelligent enough to create a means of travel would clearly be far superior to us and therefore their purpose could be way beyond our ability to understand..we can conjecture, suppose, imagine, project..but our limitations physically and intellectually are many and I doubt we'd be up to figuring it out! :)
