How do you know if your boyfriend is lying to you? What if he is just "withholding" information? How do you know he truly likes you, and isn't just hiding something or someone else from you?

There is no sure way to know whether or not someone is telling a lie. Given the magnitude of the situation, it is perfectly normal to be suspicious. If you think he is lying, confront him. Explain the situation and say that no relationships ever go anywhere through lies and deciet. If this man has any conscience at all, he will tell you nothing but fact.

I don't know why I was questioning this before, and I think that trust is the base for a meaningful relationship. I can get insecure and worry, but I need to remember that he is truly a wonderful guy and that he wouldn't do anything to hurt me.

just follow your heart, listen to what your instincts are trying to tell you, then decide wether or not to confront him or just leave it.But no one can make that desision except yourself. Take this advice from a 16 yr old!

first how much time do you spend together? how old are you? don't spend too much time wondring if he really likes you or if he's cheating on you because if he is it will come out in due time
