I have my navel pierced in four spots. It hurs just like an ear piercing. Mine didn't hurt, but it was sore for about a week.

It does not hurt when you are getting it. The pierecer tells you to take a deep breath and that's when he sticks the needle in your belly button. He/she leaves the needle in there while opening the sterile belly ring you picked out. It hurts when the piercer is putting the belly ring in That was the only part that was uncomfortable, but I cant say that it hurts because there isnt much of it, its just an uncomfortable feeling. And then its done. Mine took less than 5 minutes to do. The first week you dont really have pain, but more like your not used to having it there. You feel like you want to take it out, but you dont. There is not really pain though, but the uncomfortableness (if that's even a word) should go away a week after its done. It will hurt less if you take soak it 3 times a day, dont move it, and DONT sleep on your belly...trust me, I slept on my belly on the 2nd night and I woke up in the middle of the night, felt uncomfortable the whole next day. Good luck with your navel piercing!!! Hope this helped!!!!!

Barely hurts, it mostly just feels uncomfterable during the peircing is done but it only feels that way for a minute! And if you take good care of it after its been peirced it wont feel uncomfterable or painful. After the first few days i couldnt even feel it there.

i just got mine done a few days ago and i can already sleep on my stomach with no discomfort as long as i dont rub my stomach against the bed, bc of course it snags the ring. the only problem ive had with it is that i keep snagging it and i think its getting irritated, bc for the first couple days it hurt to scrunch my stomach, but it wasnt red or pus-filled or anything, but now its pretty red and slighty crusty and ive been keeping up really good with cleaning it. Is it ok to be antibiotic ointment or neosporin or something on it? i know not to use alcohol or peroxide, but are healing agents ok?
