What the fastest way to learn Adobe Illustrator CS3? Can anyone suggest any good books or other learning strategies?

I would imagine the quickest way to learn would be to take some sort of course for the program, you can find them online however they are not cheap. I believe you can also find learning CD's which may be more affordable and less time constructive

Not sure if this will work for you, but I usually learn new software by taking an afternoon and just playing around with it until I get a feel for the application and how it works. Does it come with tutorials? I know some Adobe products include them.
