What is your biggest pet peeve at the "Happy Holidays"?

The commercialism. Every year stores seem to bring out their Christmas stuff earlier (saw fake trees before Halloween this year), and bombard you with messages about how you HAVE to go buy this or that. The mentality - I know a lady who got her tires (all 4) slashed last year because she got a parking spot someone else wanted, even though she was there waiting for it first. She blew all of her money on Christmas gifts, came out and had 4 flat slashed tires. Merry freakin' Christmas.

The fact that the Christmas decorations and candy are out on shelves before halloween. I keep ending up giving away red and green candy while dressed as an elf on October 31!!

How comericialized everything has become How everything has lost the meaning of christmas. the son of god or well its not all about that, its more about your fellow human . I know what it started out as but , I think it should mean a bit more than the son of god, I think it should mean "hey, look at you neighbor, or that homeless woman , and be thankful for what you do have and how can I help her...
