Isn't that a factoral? I am no mth expert, but if want the number of permutations (combinations) of a set, you use factorals. 5!

Let's do some experimentation. If we have one element, there is one way to combine it. If we have two elements, there are two ways to combine them. If we have three elements, there are (ABC, ACB, BAC, BCA, CAB, CBA) 6 ways to combine them. The pattern is n! (n factorial) where n is the number of elements. That's only if you use all the elements.
