actually, isnt it the republicans who want to bring in the mexicans to do the labor jobs? I dont see that as racist, just opportunist...but what i think of is an over used excuse for not being able to further ones self for lack of study and control over ones actions. then when things go wrong for someone (usually black) because of irresponsible actions, they will play the race card. Racism will only stay alive as long as it is allowed and used as a defense. If it is being shown that it is no longer effective, then it will eventually die away as a controversial problem, and end up just being small personal shit that people use as an excuse to be assholes. but in the end, unless we see things in grey only, people will always consider a difference between the races.
