On my 2003 Pontiac Grand Am, every time I use my turn signal and then turn it off, it continues to make the clicking noise. What's wrong?

Sounds like the turn signal switch its self. The one in the steering column. It is also refered to as a multi-function switch. GM seems to be getting notorious for this problem. My Blazer and my wife's Grand Am have both sufferd from this. They are available from the parts store, but plan on spending $125 or more. You will need to take the steering column apart to change it. You will actually be changing the windsheild wiper lever as well.
