Yes! Heard of Lo-Jack? Having that can lower your insurance cost. Also, when my grandfather recently bought a new SUV they told him about this new tracking system. After you lock your car, if it should move at all, your alarm on your keys will flash. Great idea because if you were at the movie theater, for example, you'd know right away if your car was stolen, vs not finding out for 2+ hours. Increases your chances of finding your car. He was told at the dealership that this will also lower your insurance. If you had a tracking system, such as a kind used to monitor your kids, installed it would make your stolen car easy to find. Definatly would help with the cost of insurance. So if you are thinking about getting a security system I suggest giving your provider a call and getting an estimate.
