  • I work the former, I think I'd like to give the latter a shot.
  • high paying and high stress job......i could make myself stress free with all that money, and even if i choose a low paying and a low stress job, thats just gonna make me stressful again because i aint got no money!!!......
  • I'd say high stress high pay. i would hate to end up with a low paying job.
  • Yeah, I would go for the high stress, high pay. I am already used to the stress. I would gladly be paid more for it, even driving further.
  • I'll take the low pay, low stress. 1) All that money is going to be gone when you pay for those hospital stays due to heart attacks. 2) I don't require a lot of money to be happy, though it of course makes for nice things like trips and such. 3) I can probably make some real money in those 2 hrs per day I save driving (not to mention the travel expenses). 4) My significant other makes a decent wage. I'm pretty sure she'd rather have less money and me alive than lots of money and an irritable, unhealthy, and possibly soon-dead spouse.
  • My life is pretty low maintenance. I would choose the low stress/low pay/low commute. However, I have the low pay and short commute but the stress is high and I con't find a way out of it except being unemployed!
  • At this time in my life, low stress, low paying nearby
  • That's the PRICE we paid for high pay, high stress, and long travel distance.
  • I don't think I would want to drive an hour away on slick roads so I will take the closer but less paying and less stressful job.
  • Neither!!!!!!!!! I want a high paying job with less hours say(10hrs per wk) NOOOOOOOO stress, (my aide) will handle the stress. And I just phone in my work! AWWWWWWWWWWWWW what a LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!LOL
  • Well, after doing the higher paying, high stress, hour commute job for 5 years, I'll take the lower paying, lower stress, short commute job. Currently, that's what I'm looking for.
  • Right now I have a high paying, high stress job that's ten minutes away. I live a lifestyle that doesn't require all that money, and I've never been a materialistic person. I was raised to be thrifty. What I need is TIME to enjoy my life, as my high stress job forces me to work 50-60 hours a week. I would love it if my job let me work part time, that way (although I wouldn't be getting as much money) I could enjoy more time with my sweetie and my family. Plus I just got sent to the hospital with a stress-induced migraine that looked like a stroke, which cost me $1000 AFTER insurance, so...no I definitely don't need all this stress.
