  • Nope not if he/she is a good one. I had one that helped me sooooooooooo much and actually found my problem and reported it to my doctor.
  • I don't think so, because although it can be expensive it can very often be helpful to people struggle with chronic back pain and the like. On the downside, in the cases where it doesn't really work then it is a total waste. At least you can make soup out of the 'magic' beans.
  • No. I have injured my spine a few times. If I went to a medical doctor, he would have prescribed medication. I was relieved of my pain with spinal re-adjustments. I haven't been to a chiropractor in 6 years.
  • getting regular adjustments saved me from surgery to fuse my lower spine had to go to stretch tendons on one side out after they were reattached.
  • Not at all if you find a good one. I had been almost immobile fro 6 years and had been going to someone that would help me move around 2 days a week but he was besides himself because he couldn't make me better. He was treating me free, too, after awhile because he cared so much. Then a friend told me about a guy over 200 miles away whohad done remarkable things for people, including getting MS patients and Lou Gherig's patients much better. I went and I DO consider it my miracle. I was pain free after he treated me. I never felt anything other than the warmth of his hand on the back of my neck. All he was concerned about was aligning my Atlas and axis of my spine, nothing else. He didn't care about lower back pain or my hands being numb. He said, fix the top and everything else will line up. He was right. My hips wee level. I could sit up, walk fine, carry things, no more back cramps and spasms. And that was about 5 0r 6 years ago and I am still so thankful and amazed that he gave me back my life. To give him credit, he's Dr. Lubecki and he does upper cervical adjustments. He's written a few books about health, cancer and other things.
  • No, not if you find a good one. like everyone has suggested. I had several pinched nerves in my neck following a riding accident, the doctors really weren't doing a lot of me so I decided to give a chiropractor a shot, within a month I was completely pain free!
  • Chiropractors are specialists in the treatment of mechanical pains. If you have back pain see a chiropractor. I have received great help from chiropractors over the years. As for magical beans, I cannot comment as I have never used these. Dr. Hassard
  • sometimes maybe, but I have had 2 wonderful chiropractors One was a naturapath and one was an accupunturist (is that what you call them ) not sure, but they were great! The naturapath worked on a couple autistic children that I know for aggression and it was something in the neck, but it worked
  • Depends on the chiro you are seeing. Some of them use their ways to make sure you come back. But a good one makes it so you have to see them less and less.
  • I was in physical therapy for a year with my physician telling me to schedule surgery. A real friend convinced me to see a chiropractor (I used to call them "quacker-practors") and, after six visits I was pain free for the first time. I visit regularly and have remained pain free for years. I am a believer!
  • Only if the magic beans can protect your spine from the negative effects of poor posture, time, aging and gravity. Let me know where I can find such miraculuous beans. I'd be willing to pay at least $1,00 per bean if I could just be lazy all day and pop a bean to fix the mess I've made of my spine.
