Next week Santa will be riding on the firetruck around our neighborhood to see all the kids and stopping at the school across the street so he can visit with the kids. There is also the boat parade where all the boats get decorated and judged and go up and down the Chesapeake Bay....too cold for me to sit out and watch anymore:)

There was a tree lighting in my city. The police blocked off the road. Then, Santa was riding his sleigh across the traffic light. People were singing carols as the trees began to light up. After that, all the children were able to sit on his lap inside. There were a lot of free snacks including cookies, coffee, and juice boxes. Outside there were real live reindeer that people were allowed to pet or feed.
