  • I remember being both. I was always accused of being teacher's pet, yet I considered most of my teachers to be my greatest hindrance against actually learning anything.
  • Neither but I did get along with all of my teachers...
  • A little of both actually.
  • Never a teachers pet....nuns didn't have much of a sense of humor in the 50's/60's.
  • I always loved my teachers, but I think they felt the opposite way about me. Homework...or some...I don't know.
  • Up until seventh grade, more likely a teacher's pet. But in seventh and eighth grade, I wasn't really a teacher's pet or a teacher hater, but I got along with them really well...
  • hehehe i am a teacher.. but didn't know if im a pet for them! lol! hopefully ya.. am not mean anyways!
  • Neither. Teacher's worst nightmare. Who wants to be told that as a tax payer you expect better from teachers? Yup, I said that to one. I butt heads with quite a few. . .I don't condone giving teachers a hard time, that is one tough job, but some situations call for it. CASES IN POINT: During Desert Storm I had one that commented on how pretty the bombs looked. . .just like "fireworks." Another went of on a tangent about what a slut Hester Prynne was (The Scarlet Letter). Bible thumper. One also made fun of a kid who smelled bad. His family was dirt poor and they could not afford the local water bills (they were really high), so laundry was a luxury. What a b***h!
  • I was both.
  • It depends on the teacher. When I have a teacher who's respectful of their students' insights and questions, I usually settle into a role vaguely resembling "Teacher's Pet", but closer to "Teacher's Colleague". I'm nice and respectful towards competent teachers, but I'm anything but a suckup (In fact, I'm usually that kid who pipes up the middle of class to correct their facts). A teacher who expects their pupils to just shut up and follow instructions, however, will generally find me trying to undermine their tactics and do their job for them at every opportunity.
  • i'll be their pet if they treat me with respect otherwise, feel mii wrath
