In the context of a quote, it says that humans' exploitation of less-than-human things (animals, plants earth etc) was a part of gods grand design. A nice quote for a villan!

That is why you should not do to another what you would not want done to you... Like we U.S. don't like it when other countries do what we have been doing for years... The world is getting way too small for that behavior to continue... You can push someones back to the point they are willing to kill themselves just to hurt/get back at you. I heard this quote on 'The Magnificent Seven' A great American Western Classic.
