I think he's great. I've no doubt that he manipulates the footage to emphasis his point but he's an anarchist. The US needs more dissenting voices. Go Mikey!
-
I find him very innovative. He gets the important points across and uses humor, emotion, and causes on to contemplate and think about the issues in his documentary.Very few movies these days have the intelligent qualities of his documentaries, and that is why he wins awards for his films.I have seen them all and awaiting his next one.
-
he's a skilled editor
-
I think he's the opposite of what Fox news is (no, I don't mean "fair and balanced" as they claim to be).
-
He's too real for tv. Check out the interview of him and Wolf Blitzer of CNN. He put everyone in their place.
-
clever editing and half truths seem to be the flavour of the month ...just ask the 'peace prize' committee maybe moore will be next in line to get the award
-
michael moore needs some good grooming otherwise no one would take him seriously. the guy has a repulsive personality.
-
I really like him and his style.
-
A waste of room in the film industry
-
Moore tries to make points about society, and he DOES make the points. HOWEVER-He uses half truths, clever editing, and outright lies to do it. I personally think the guy is trying to help, but he's going about it completely the wrong way.
-
I like his documentaries but not sure they are 100% true - entertainment value is good - but i am not sure they help bring our country together to solve problems
-
I'm not much of a one for Biblical quotes, but this one springs to mind: ... or Jesus himself testified that a prophet in his own country shall not have honour.
-
I think the idea of exposing things is great but he himself is an idiotic slob. At least dress up for the camera, Dude. It makes it hard to take the message seriously.
-
I like Moore's documentaries and I think they raise a lot of good questions and make people think. It's okay to criticize and administration if you think they're not acting correctly. It's okay to question a system that doesn't seem to work well. I do think Michael Moore has his agenda and very firm points of view. As such, his documentaries aren't wholly unbiased, as a good a documentary should be. But if you realize he's going to make his point and he spurs you on to do your own research into an issue, then you don't feel misled.
-
he is his own greatest fan, his use of edit/duplicitious comentary and I have to say great irony make his documentaries copulsive viewing, but the old adage 'don't let the truth get in the way of a good story' could have been invented for Moore
-
I think he is a waste of oxygen. Not to mention his stuff isn't worth the plastic it is printed on.
