Our friend Jay has decided to leave AB. Does anyone know the reason? Anyone else saddened by this besides me?

I am. The trend is out of control and it's sad. The off site gossip and the on site bullying is taking it's toll. Some of us feel we get no support from the CLs nor the staff and that just leaves one option. I have been involved in my share of the drama but I have decided to ignore those users that I find distasteful and creepy and do my own thing. Also I have reduced the amount of time I spend here. I'm here to have fun and if it's not fun there is no reason for me to be here.

I just noticed that myself Ed. Maybe he has a lot of holiday shopping to do and he has no time for AB right now? I would like to think he found a sexy girlfriend that is occupying most of his time. He picked up the baton when Blank died, I appreciate his efforts in doing that. Jay seemed like a truly nice person and I will miss him and I wish him well.

Why? Is it something I said/did/didn't say/didn't do? Sir Jay, if you are within "hearing" distance, please explain and remain...you will cause grievous distress if you leave...that is not in keeping with the Sir Jay of Answerlot with whom I have become friends...you will be deserting us, m'dear...and you are not a deserter! :(

I have no idea. Honestly I don't know Jay that much, but based on my few interactions with him, I think he's a really great guy. He has even asked me to positroll Blank Savage. It's always sad when someone leaves. But I guess that's really part of life. People come and go. But memories will remain with us.

I have an inkling. He's not the first and I'm sure he's not the last. There's some unpleasant stuff going on both off the site and on. We're all feeling the weight of shorter days, holiday stress. Some of us are just nasty people (kidding). :-) I do hope he comes back.

I wondered what the addition tio his name meant. I do not know what is going on maybe I am around at the wrong times but we certainly seem to be losing some very nice people who are also very good contributuers. Jay is a very nice person and I do hope he changes his mind and returns. Maybe he needs a break. I do hope that is all.

This whole place is going nuts!! I wish him well and I ope that he checks in to see an improved AB. For awhile it was getting pretty bad, but it seems to by cycling out. But, I am not on as much either. I could be missing something. Jay, hope you find what you need, please check back soon... we should all try to make this a great place for sharing ideas and thoughts and not getting our panties in a wad over differing ideas. How boring would life be if we all have the same ideals??

I don't know why, but I would like to know. I am not happy about this at all. Jay's questions were the main reason I decided to make the transfer from YA.
