  • from http://www.orangefrogproductions.com/ofp2o_auth_artlet_commercialmusic.shtml Johnny Walker Black "Seriously Black" [ADDED: 12/02/2007] Artist: Supreme Beings of Leisure (forwards to MySpace - song in audio player) Song: Never the Same (Commercial uses edit - 1st line of 2nd verse, 2nd line of first verse) Link to Commercial, Artist sites, and video of song at site
  • The beginning of the song is borrowed from the song "You Showed Me", originally performed by The Turtles in the '60s, and later by The Lightning Seeds. The song in the commercial is called "Never The Same" by The Supreme Beings of Leisure. The words you think you hear in the commercial are not exactly the words in the song.
  • I have a guess...her name is Poe. She is an incredible singer and her albums (Hello and Haunted) are two of my favorite. Just a guess though! She's the first one that popped in my head when I heard the commercial.
  • OK, no, it's not Poe, although it sounds a lot like her. It is, in fact, Supreme Beings of Leisure. Check out their Myspace page! Pretty cool! But really, listen to Poe's album Hello and then the song "Never the Same" by the aforementioned band. Uncanny.
