America has become Rome right before the fall. The people are fat and self-absorbed, ignorant of the world around them. The people consider America to be the best nation on the planet, when they have no clue what any other nations are like. Just like Rome, The people have become more religious, and less rational. They see themselves as the chosen people of God, so nothing bad can happen to them. As anyone who watches horror movies knows, it's right when the people think that nothing can go wrong that something does.

I am an America and my views are as such. Like any other country there are good and bad people. Here we have the greatest mixing pot of people from all over the planet which are open to the freedom to express how they feel and believe unlike other countries. Here if you wish to worship a rock then so be it. Proud to the fact we stand brave when pushed and will fight if fighting needs to be done. I am not talking wars and government issues but but mere beliefs. Giving to those who need help and open to new ideas seems to be something many Americas live and breath. misunderstood because of controversies spread about us by media and missed informed reporters. unless you live within the boundaries of this country how could a single person pretend to know how things really are? I have heard many refer to Americans as rich fat bastards which does not describe but a very small part of those that live here. We are humans and we are basically like everyone else. We laugh and we cry and we bleed and die like everyone else. We seek happiness like everyone else and we would like nothing more than world peace.

If by America you mean the United States, then I can't honestly say I'd like to move abroad. I like my neighbors. Mostly, I like that the government is paying about half my tuition. Sure makes my life easier.

People are just people, whatever their nationality. Most people think that there is more about their home country that is good than is the case in any other country; this is patriotism and it's very natural. All countries have a mixture of good and bad people, informed and ill-informed people, clever and stupid people and so on. After visiting this site for a few months I would say that the one thing that sets the USA apart from other countries is that a surprising proportion of its inhabitants seem to honestly believe that EVERYTHING about their country and its people is better than everything and everybody in other countries.

My views are that America could have turned out a lot better and we might could have found out another way to settle out our differences with other countries.There were other ways besides WAR!!!!

Big continent with a few ways of being, as opposed to Europe with the gazillion languages and often totally opposite cultures.
