I want a survey-When you make a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, to get the jelly out, do you use a knife or a spoon?

i've always used a knife... everyone i know has always used knives... but now that i think about it, a spoon makes more sense. i should start using a spoon instead. thanks

I buy Welches in the handy squeeze bottle. And spread it with the knife I used for the peanut butter jar.

I'm strictly a spoon guy. Stuff falls off knives too easily.

These days I use the closest long & narrow thing to me. Sometimes its even my finger. YUM. (although it takes quite a licking to get clean, so I usually go for a spoon or knife, or handle of a fork) I keep the teaspoons at the front of the draw, so its often a teaspoon, unless there is a knife already on the bench handy that isnt covered in stuff I dont want in the jello, like vegemite, which tastes weird on everything except cheese and bread.

I would use the knife that I will next use to get the jam out. We have great spatula type knives that really are great for shoveling things out of jars and spreading things. And they cut rather well, too.
