    Bantamweight Champion Vic Towell, knocked Danny Sullivan down 14 times on December 2, 1950.

    The most in 1 round is when Jack Dempsey floored Luis Firpo 7 times in the 1st round and Firpo floored Dempsey twice, for a total of 9 knockdowns. The bout ended in the 2nd round with Dempsey flooring Firpo 2 more times.
