  • Well you're comparing a figure of speech to literal interpretation. In a word, the answer to your question is: yes. In a cliche' turn of phrase, the answer is: "The real question is, do we EVER truly win, maaaaan? Thiiiink about it, duuude..."
  • Any man can fight a winning battle. Only the truly brave can fight a losing one.
  • Erm, somehow I don't think that there is winning or losing that battle between life-and-death. Life happens, and while it happens, we are living. Death also happens, it is part of life. Look at the trees, look at the plants. Everything has life for awhile. While the music plays, we dance. I would say that the person who fights bravely for their lives are valiant, and I pray for their victory. Loss is no fun, but we have to remember it is part of life, and remember the good in that person that you lost. Always!
  • Fighting bravely makes them a winner, not whether or not they conquer an illness.
  • It's the fight that counts, not the results of the battle.
  • Well you have a lot to say about English.
