Implausible and unproven... So for the time being and foreseeable (I know it's a bit ironic to use that word, but meh : P ) future, fake. There have been dozens of intense tests run on the subject, and all of them have either yielded negative results (Psychics are fakes) or inconclusive results (It's perhaps possible that there is a real phenomenon there to study, but more testing still needs to be done, for the time being it remains unproven).

Fake. And just silly.

I believe that there are real psychics. I have been in situations that worked out precisely as told.

There are a vast number of totally separate categories within "psychic" ... the classic and popular fortune teller type of psychic is fake for most so called psychics, with a slight hint of real for a very small number of so called psychics. It is still not absolutely certain if those very few are just good guessers, able to read people and deduce what might happen, or if they actually can see bits of the future. Among the many other types, there are many that are absolutely real, many that are absolutely fake, and many that are unconfirmed either way. Things like pyrokenisis, levitation, teleportation, telekinesis, and a few others that are psychic abilities refered to as psionics, are most probably fake, or at least all current tests so far have proven to be negative ... while certain other minor psionics, such as body equillibrium, cell adjustment, manipulation of static, are all well within the realm of real, and many high level martial artists and yoga masters can do them and teach them.

Psychics are as phony as faith healers.
