  • I am kinda curious about that too. Why are they annonymous? its not like they have anything to hide
  • Most of the Anonymous users don't come here to stay but to quickly ask, get some info and leave. Others do this in order to hide their identity. And some do this when they quit AB.
  • I rarely answer them as I find them more self-serving than contributory. In addition to answering mostly my Friend's questions, I look for interesting questions which add humor, enlightenment or interest to the Bag.
  • No, many are here just for one answer and they don't have the time to find a clever or unique name, they just want an answer. Why should they be penalized?
  • Avoid them? No. I vote we just give them generic answers, that'll teach 'em!
  • I don't think you should avoid any AB member unless they are threatening or rude. Being anonymous is just a personal choice they adopted. If they know someone on AB that they don't want bothering them, then they have that opportunity. They must feel mysterious or something.
  • There is no point. If it's someone swinging by for the first time just to ask a question then that's fine but if it's a user who frequents this site then it's beyond fathoming why someone would be so lazy. You don't even have to be computer literate in order to kn ow how to change your user name.
  • anonimity is forthe less courageous to be able to ask the questions they want to knowthe answer to and not give themselves away... and since i don;t need a 12 step program for life damaging addictions/behaviors... i dont need it!
  • I was anonymous for a long time, only because I couldn't decide on what to call myself.
  • Some people just like to be anonymous. I mean, if they want to be anonymous, let them. It's really no different than having a name that is not your's or a avatar that doesn't have you in it. Most likely, these anonymous people don't really wish for people to know them. They just want to waste time for about fifteen minutes and then never be seen again.
  • Of course we shouldn't be avoiding them. That's their choice. Maybe they don't want to be recognized, because their questions are too personal/embarrassing. I think I should respect their choice for privacy.
  • I agree completely, I do not give points to anonymous users, but I do not boycott their questions. I just wish AB would remove the option to be anonymous completely.
