The declaration describes such matters as the boundaries of the units (your space and responsibility), the items and areas that will make up the common elements (associations responsibility), including limited common elements (usually associations responsibility but can vary based on rules and regs and bylaws of your condo), if any, and a determination of the unit owner's percentage interest in the common elements.
