To those of you who are mothers,when you first found out you were pregnant with your child,how did the baby's father first react when you first told them?

i lost my baby and when i got rushed to hospital it was the first i knew about it. my bf at the time wasnt sympathetic and i will never forgive him for it because that was my/our baby and i always think about it. my baby would of been 7 now.

My hubby wanted to be a father all his life. He grew up in an orphanage and always wanted a family of his own. He jumped up and down and ran out the door and screamed "I'm going to be a dad!" He twirled me around and thanked him for making his dreams come true....He's so sweet!

My husband and I had planned her and when it was confirmed, He was very happy.

With my first pregnancy (m/c around 4 weeks) he was supportive, but scared. He doubted if he would be a good father, or if we would be able to support it. But the more time that went on and the more we started reading and planning he was very excited and hadn't realised that he wanted children until he met me. Now we are witing to see if I am carrying again :-3

the first pushed VERY HARD for abortion, I got an annulment instead. Thes econd and third he was just indifferent. All these years later, he si a wonderful father, but at the time he couldnt really care either way.

I fell pregnant the first month i was off the pill. my husband was excited, but also shocked that it all happened so fast!

A little shell shocked, lol. He's a wonderful father - our oldest is 23 now. When the boys were infants, he really didn't help out with their physical care (changing diapers, bottle feedings, etc) but by the time they were crawling and could play and giggle etc, they became inseparable.
