Could my neutered male cat harm newborn kittens?

Anything is possible. I'd keep them apart until the kittens are eyes and ears open. Domestic cats normally aren't violent towards young.

This would depend on the cat,if hes the father he will be tolerant of them. You must watch them and see how he acts with them and how the mother feels some mothers dont want the male cat near their kittens so you have to play it by ear. Not all cats kill their babies this is wrong information it depends on the cats temperment. I have known a male cat to help asist the birth and clean the babies.
