    He has done some decent things but I think he is overrated as an actor. I didn't think Forest Gump was all that great for example but everyone seemed to think it was the greatest performance in cinema history. Just didn't get it at all. But he has done some good things in the past, I liked Big and so on.

    Tom Hanks has that ingredient that all actors long-for.

    He is like a magnet and attracts everyone.

    My favorite movie included a sloppy, mouth-watering dog.

    In my humble opinion, it is possible for someone out there to not like Tom Hanks. This, however is different than DISLiking him. Some people may have no opinion of him at all, but no one thinks negatively of him.
    The attached link has a great interview W/him discussing how likable he is. I think he even curses out the interviewer, but in a nice way.

    I like some of his movies, but I've read and heard that he is arrogant and not very people friendly. If that's true, then no I don't really like him as a person. If it's not true, then I don't have a reason to not like him.

    I like some of his movies - "Big" and "Sleepless in Seattle" are two of my favorites. I think he's become one of those arrogant actors in the industry - and that's what I don't like about him.

    He possesses a boyish lighthearted quality and is affable on screen never met the man but he has a serious side to his true character.Being outspoken about politics has possibly hurt his career.He's got MOXY baby.

    As far as his acting in movies, no, I remain pretty unimpressed. In real life, I very well may like him ( or not ) if I knew him. :) Fun question,killdrphil. Enjoyable answers from others, too.
