Well, if you were born on (for example) May 5th, your birthdays would be on May 5th. If you were born on Feb 29th then it normally rolls over to March 1st.
-
If you mean born on February 29th in a leap year you would have to choose either the 28th February or the 1st of March to celebrate your birthday.

A person born on February 29 may be called a "leapling". In common years they usually celebrate their birthdays on 28 February or 1 March. Shirley Temple was a "leapling" and used to joke that she could play 10 year-old into her 40's. Also -here's an interesting fact: it was common yore that in the early 1900's in the US, a woman could ask for a man's hand in marriage without fear of reprisal or social stigma, only during a leap year.

I celebrate (when it's not a leap year) on 29th Feb AND 1st March mainly because friends and family randomly send me cards gifts etc around that time.
