    Physics by its very nature is in many areas more speculative than biology. Physicists theorize over things that can not be observed, like the formation of the universe, while biologists concentrate mostly on the observable world of living things. One exception is exobiology which is concerned with theorizing about the origins of life on earth and other planets. http://www.chem.duke.edu/~jds/cruise_chem/Exobiology/
