We have the same problem in California and we have called the cops 100 times and they do nothing, they say it is perfectly legal, which is a lie, it can't be legal to play basketball in the street, obstructing traffic, endangerment of a child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, maybe call Child Protective Services and have the children removed from the home, I wish I knew what to do myself, this goes on by us all the time, there is at least one basketball hoop in every block and sometimes three or four and they drive us nuts and it does not do any good to move, I moved 13 times in 13 years when I lived in San Diego and this stuff follows you everywhere, partly is it what they call mobbing or gangstalking and they follow you everywhere even across the country, and I am not saying to do this, just putting it out there but some people have gotten even with the apartment complex by catching cockroaches and putting them all over the apt. complex because the managers were so mean and made the people move and wouldn't do anything about any complaints they had and towed their vehicle illegally, they also picked up dog poop and put it on their sidewalks and they all stepped in it, but people can only take so much abuse and something is bound to happen,

Why don't you ride your motorcycle and let them see how it is to be disturbed? Actually, you don't sound like you would be a very fun neighbor.
