It is strange, isnt it? Do people find it funny when somebody suddenly wets themself? More like shock or empathy for the poor person, especially if they are up in years. The psychology of the fart should be studied in more depth. I m not sure it has ever been done.

people tend to laugh, when they get surprised (inherited from monkeys, yeah) and don't know what to do. I mean, what else can you do in a situation like that?
