I certianly do hope so, but again on Cape Cod and in the Hamptons lets hope she has a body to go with it. I wouldn't wear a bikini anywhere, and I've seen plenty of women who are in them and should not be.

Socially acceptable- yes definetely. Advisable? Maybe not- but generally deciding whether its a good idea to wear a bikini is down to factors other than your age- I've seen plenty of women in their forties who look far better in them than teenage girls. If it flatters you then go ahead- you can always lie about your age if its that important.

Couldn't you wear a modest bikini to swim and then get a great cover-up to wear if you walk around? Or, why not take a walk on this beach with shorts and a t-shirt and observe what people are wearing, then go from there.

Bikinis aren't about the age or the wearer.... It's about the shape of the body. Swimwear, like any other clothing, should flatter the body. It should accentuate or even show off your best parts. Bikinis are best on women with medium to large busts and toned thighs/glutes. They also look better on women who wear them with confidence.

Of course. And who cares if it isn't? Screw society, be an individual. Why should you have to dress the way other people want you to?

If she still have a "bikini figure", why not!? It shouldn't matter how old you are. Some 20-somethings are in worse shape than some 30-somethings.

OH wow, I have opinions on this question. I'm a male, 34, lifted weights since I was 3 years old. The average 20 year old girl, only has a figure because of their age, not because they actually do anything besides starve themselves to stay thin. Which is a very obvious look, half starved causes muscle mass to drop, you can see it in their legs, their legs may look good, but they lack the mass they should have. A 35 plus year old women, who actually puts effort into fitness, as in bothers to eat, pushes their bodies until they feel like they can't take it anymore, will nine times out of ten, look far better than the average 20 year old women. I don't get this, I'm a girl thing, so go easy on the weights and fitness. My best friend is 37 years old, she doesn't look like a muscle girl, but she is very tough. While helping her tile her floor I saw her pick up a 90 pound box of tiles. Its not that she is strong like a guy, its that most guys are not even as strong as the average chick, she is what every 35+ year old women can be, if they are willing to push themselves. So yes, I think a 35 year old can wear a bikini with pride, the question is, can the average 20 year old do the same?

Why would the age of 35 magically mean that a female should terminate her sexuality and her sexual appeal? Actually, a 35 year old woman still has a few good years left in her. A 65 year old woman might even be able to squeeze out a year or two. Some 65 year olds women look pretty good to 65 year old men.
