If you have Vista on the laptop, it will run very well if you have a minimum of 2GB of memory. They are getting a lot cheaper. You will notice a 100% improvement.

You should be looking for at least an 80GB hard drive and preferably at least 2GB of RAM, but a minimum of 1GB of RAM.
