there are some 100+ folks that are still doing awesome, but i don't think i want to get too old. because needing help to poop, eat, move, breathe...i dunno, it's not really living. i wouldn't want to live through that.

I just want to get a telegram from the queen. Or rather, from the king by then. I've never seen a telegram in my life. That's the only reason why I want to live to 100.

... and beyond ... My very first Chinese martial arts teacher was 97 years old when I met him ... and he was STILL taking lessons from his father (123) !!! ... sadly, they both died in a car accident when a truck hit the taxi they were riding in, on their way from the airport to a martial arts demonstration, in Edmonton.

It is a goal of mine,by maintaining my health to make it past 100,and more like 110.

lately I'm so worn out, I already feel 100! I want to live a long, healthy life...but not sure I want to be around that long.

NO, I saw my grandparents die from COPD & breathing problems & since I'm an asshole that still smokes, I'd like to die around 65 before I they get worse, but I still have hopefully 24 years to create havoc on my enemies, lol

Interesting question Frank. It is very possible that I might live that long. Both of my grandmothers lived until their late 90's. However, I actually fear it! I watched them and know that age is painful in many ways. From surviving loved ones to a body and mind becoming lame. Loneliness, loss of independence, loss of dignity, and boredom. The only way that I have seen any person live through their last years with happiness is if they live with family, but that has become rare. I may be lucky and find an escape out of here before it gets too bad!

I sure hope I will reach it. My great grandmother is 96 and her mother reach 97 (or 98 my family agrues that one) and I had a great great aunt who died at 99 this past January (2007).
