Well, when it's up to me, the Christmas music comes on the day after Thanksgiving, and the tree goes up NO LATER than December 5th. It comes down a week or two into January.

My wife and kids have put it up the last 4 years on Thanksgiving week-end. Even tho' they are grown, they still really get into Christmas and the decorations. As long as they are happy, it's okay with me.

my mom usually waits until pretty late to get a tree up, but she waits until like February to take it down. sometimes longer.

two weeks before christmas day and then I hate taking it down because I love to look at it. Jan. 6th the earliest I've taken it down.
